Strengthening Farmer Capacity through Peer Learning and Knowledge Exchange!

SAHAS Nepal successfully hosted a Cross Learning Visit for group members from Caritas Nepal in Sunilsmriti Rural Municipality under the BELIEF Project. This exchange brought together community members and local farmers to share knowledge, experience, and best practices.
During the visit, participants gained hands-on exposure to home gardening practices, a household-level intervention designed to promote nutrition security through diversified kitchen gardening and climate-resilient growing techniques. They also explored market linkage activities aimed at connecting smallholder farmers to viable market systems, thereby strengthening income generation and long-term economic resilience at the community level.
Cross learning visits like this serve as a powerful capacity-building tool, enabling communities to learn directly from each other's lived experiences, replicate successful models, and build confidence in locally-led solutions.
